What Does the ES Division Do?

The Divison of Enrollment Services handles matters of student recruitment and marketing, admissions policies, financial aid policies, central academic advising, retention efforts, student academic support services, policies on academic progress, graduation, commencement, and the student information system (Banner).

Service is provided to the faculty, students, staff, alumni, and the general community, by assisting with and focusing upon:

  • student recruitment
  • assessment and evaluation
  • admission
  • enrollment
  • financial aid and scholarships
  • registration and student records
  • orientation
  • special retention programs, including
    • The UNS 101 Program
    • Living & Learning Communities
    • supplemental instruction, mentoring and tutoring initiatives
