Proper planning of your coursework at UNCG is essential to your academic success. Although advising and assistance in determining courses is available to students, each student is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the courses they take meet the requirements for the degree they seek.
Requirements for specific Degrees, Majors, Concentrations, and Minors may be found in the Undergraduate and Graduate Bulletins, published annually in print and online. The schedule of classes is published each semester and available online.
Undergraduates (UG): Official record of academic progress is maintained by the University Registrar's Office (located in 180 Mossman). Students can request a "Degree Audit" that will evaluate their progress towards their chosen degree/major/concentration and/or minor. (A degree audit is a one-page check sheet for an area of study that summarizes the catalog requirements for graduation).
Graduates (GR): Official record of academic progress is maintained within your Academic Department. Either the Director of Graduate Study or your particular Advisor (if assigned) should maintain those records. Contact Information for Graduate Programs of Study can be found here.
