The Division of Enrollment Services is committed to maintaining its status as a national model of student services. This commitment, combined with the aforementioned emphasis on staff learning, create an environment where staff are acknowledged leaders in their respective fields. As a result, Enrollment Services staff members are often presented with unique development opportunities and special recognitions.

University Accomplishments
· A Senior Assistant Director in Undergraduate Admissions was asked to be the keynote speaker at the Teen Talk Banquet sponsored by Forsyth County Department of Public Health.
· UNCG received the Greensboro News and Record's Readers Choice Award for the Best Place in the Triad to Work.
· UNCG has an annual budget of $214 million.
· In recent years, UNCG has undergone $200 million in construction.
· For the sixth year in a row, UNCG is ranked among the nation's top colleges in the 2005 edition of The Princeton Review's The Best 357 Colleges guide.
· This year, UNCG ranked #2 nationally among public university best bargains and in the top 136 colleges named "Best in the Southeast."
· UNCG has approximately 15,300 students (32 percent male, 68 percent female) from 46 states and 90 countries including 11,500 traditional undergraduates. Undergraduate minority enrollment is about 30 percent; 20 percent are African-American.
· The economic impact of UNCG in the Piedmont Triad is almost $600 million.
· Consumers Digest named UNCG one of the 50 top values among public colleges and universities in the United States.
· UNCG's School of Education is ranked among the nation's top programs by the U.S. News and World Report for ten straight years.
· UNCG's new science building has been touted as the finest facility in North Carolina in which to teach science and conduct research.
· The School of Music is one of the top music institutions in the United States.
· UNCG students provided 3,700 hours of service around the community in one semester.
· The FISKE Guide to Colleges named UNCG "One of North Carolina's Best Values in Higher Education."
