Division Excellence
The Division of Enrollment Services is committed to maintaining its status as a national model of student services. This commitment, combined with the aforementioned emphasis on staff learning, create an environment where staff are acknowledged leaders in their respective fields. As a result, Enrollment Services staff members are often presented with unique development opportunities and special recognitions.

Individual Accomplishments
· A Senior Assistant Director in Undergraduate Admissions was asked to be the keynote speaker at the Teen Talk Banquet sponsored by Forsyth County Department of Public Health.
· Senior Assistant Directors in Undergraduate Admissions were selected to deliver a presentation at the national American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
· A Processing Supervisor in the Financial Aid Office won UNCG's Staff Excellence Award in 2003.
· Over the past three years, the associate provost has published eighteen professional articles, seven book chapters, and three books.
· The associate provost served as the director for AACRAO's Strategic Enrollment Management Conference from 1998 to 2003.
· An Assistant Director in Financial Aid won the Bullard Award in 2003. The Bullard Award is given to persons who show commendable initiative and perseverance in their leadership and/ or service roles.
· In 2003, 13 Enrollment Services employees worked together to write a book for AACRAO entitled Gen Xers Return to College: Enrollment Strategies for a Maturing Population.
· Three members of the Financial Aid Office serve on the executive board of the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA).
· Enrollment Services staff regularly serve as panelists on scholarship committees. In 2004, over a dozen Enrollment Services staff members served as panelists for the university's Merit Award Program.
· An Assistant Director in Undergraduate Admissions and an Assistant Director in the Financial Aid Office were selected by the Chancellor's Office to participate in Leadership Greensboro, which is an innovative civic leadership development experience designed to meet our community's need for the active involvement of informed skilled and responsible community leaders.
· Staff members regularly attend regional and national conferences. For example, every employee in the Financial Aid office attends at least one conference per year.
· Of the 20 UNCG employees chosen to be members of the university's Diversity Team, responsible for delivering institutionwide diversity training, 3 were Enrollment Services employees.
